Founded in November 2024, Law Street, PLLC is a New York and Connecticut-based, client-centered law firm rooted in the belief that every human deserves compassionate, affordable, accessible, high-quality legal representation, no matter your zip code, income, or background.
We practice at the intersections of civil rights, housing, immigration, employment, education, and civil rights law, recognizing that people’s legal needs rarely fit into a single silo. Our Cooperative bring interdisciplinary experience in movement lawyering, trauma-informed advocacy, and community education, and we partner closely with grassroots organizations, faith leaders, artists, and healers to design strategies that honor the whole person, not just the case file.
From housing court and family proceedings to immigration hearings, Board of Education discipline matters, and civil rights actions, we show up with both legal skill and genuine care. Our community is our client, and every person who walks through our door brings a story, rights, and dignity worth fighting for.
Law of Love Cooperative was founded by alumni of the City University of New York School of Law, nationally recognized for its leadership in public interest law. Guided by a vision of a more loving, pluralistic public sphere, we see the law as one tool among many, alongside culture, spirituality, and mutual aid, to build a more just, inclusive, and tender world.
